BMW of North America announced changes to its central region leadership team effective July 1.

Patrick Clark was appointed VP of the central region, where he will be responsible for sales and marketing across 12 Midwest states. He will also oversee the region’s network of 78 BMW dealers.
Clark will rejoin BMW of North America from BMW Canada, where he has served as director of national sales and network development since March 2024. Before that, Clark was at BMW of North America for more than eight years, including five as head of sales for the central region, per his LinkedIn profile.
Clark will take over for Broderick McKinney, who will transition to the role of VP, used cars at BMW Group Financial Services North America.
Clark will report to Shaun Bugbee, EVP of operations for BMW of North America.
According to Bugbee, “Under Patrick’s leadership and guidance, BMW achieved record sales results for both BEV and M models in Canada, while simultaneously gaining market share against key competitors.”
In 2024, BMW M sales in Canada increased 9% over 2023, while BMW BEV sales increased 4% as compared to 2023.
Bugbee added that when Clark was head of sales for the central region, he “successfully steered sales prior [to] his move to the Canadian market in 2024.”
Clark first joined the BMW Group in 1996 with a position at BMW Group Financial Services, the press release said, where he held various positions in finance and operations for more than a decade before transitioning to sales.
