Hyundai Motor America promoted Andrew Franceschini to VP, product line management, effective Sept. 1, the automaker announced on Friday.

Franceschini will lead a team of subject matter experts “to enhance Hyundai’s go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing, incentives, inventory management and competitive analysis,” per the release.
Hyundai said Franceschini’s leadership also aims to help ensure cross-functional alignment across departments to support the company’s sales growth, market share expansion and profitability goals, according to the release.
“Andrew is a skilled product strategist who brings fresh perspective and precision to our product planning and market execution,” Claudia Márquez, COO of Hyundai Motor America, said in the release. Franceschini will report to Márquez.
Franceschini joined Hyundai Motor America in January 2018, focusing on market research and corporate strategy. In 2020, he was appointed executive director of product line management.
Prior to joining Hyundai, Franceschini held leadership roles at Toyota, GfK Automotive, RAPP LA, and J.D. Power.
