Jee-Seop Kim was appointed head of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Vans North America, effective Sept. 1, the automaker announced in a statement.

Kim has served in various leadership roles with Mercedes-Benz since December 2002, including head of customer services at Mercedes-Benz Korea. He has been VP of customer services for Mercedes-Benz USA since May 2023, per his LinkedIn profile.
“We are confident that his professional expertise and proven leadership skills will help drive continued success for Mercedes-Benz Vans in North America to best serve the needs of our dealer partners and customers,” President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA Dimitris Psillakis said in the June 4 press release.
Kim will succeed Heike Scheuble who is retiring on Sept. 2 after more than four decades with Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz Vans operates its only U.S. van factory in Ladson, South Carolina. Since 2006, the plant has assembled over 400,000 Metris, Sprinter and eSprinter delivery vans for the U.S. and Canada — the carmaker’s second-largest Sprinter market after Germany, the company reported.
