Nissan North America appointed Arcangelo Lofaro VP, U.S. sales and regional operations effective July 1, the company announced in a press release.

Lofaro most recently was division general manager of the automaker’s global sales and dealer network division for both Nissan and its luxury Infinity brand.
"Arcangelo brings deep expertise, a global perspective and a strong track record of collaboration with our dealer partners," Vinay Shahani, SVP of U.S. marketing and sales for Nissan Americas, said in the late June announcement. “I’m confident he’ll build on the solid foundation we've laid and lead our team to success during this transformative period and beyond.”
During Lofaro’s nearly two decade career with Nissan, he has served as Nissan U.S. sales operations and regional vice president for the Nissan Northeast Region, according to his LinkedIn profile. He will be based in Franklin, Tennessee and report to Shahani, per the release.
Lafaro’s appointment continues a wave of management changes at Nissan, including the appointment of a new CEO and shuffling of its corporate leadership in an effort to turn around the financially struggling automaker.
Lafaro takes over the former role of Judy Wheeler, who retired after 15 years with Nissan.
